Simple title, because it's the video no.100 which i upload to YT. What else maybe a better choise to produce the basic track with the A-100 Analog Modular System for this time?
More about this i included 2 samples which i've created with the Virus C and also a loop which i created with my new Boss RC-30 is running in the background.
Btw. creating the videos is much mor work than producing the sound. Maybe it's time for myself to relax a while with chilling and watchig my own stream at a big flat tv.

The Dense Forest is an experimental instrument which i got via etsy.com. I connected it only to the Jomox T-Resonator which is running in a self-oszillating status. That's all. Only the later starting noise comes from my A-100 System

Time to make a different thing from my usual style and to produce something with a driving beat.
For this track i used my Filterbank "Ebbe & Flut" which i use really rare. The audio quality isn't really professional and the track could be enhanced with some voise and synthesizer samples, but it's a live recording just for fun and i won't make a science of it. The beat and sound comes from the Roland MC-909. You're watching a nightdrive in Madeira, from Encumeada via Camara de Lobos via Funchal to Canico.

The planning was to make a whole serie of photos with the Milkyway, but to be true, it was so cold at 1600m altitude, that i in my beach-city clothes after driving the serpentines through the dark night my concentration failed for the right settings. RABACAL is a national park area in Madeira, an island of Portugal. You can't drive there directly by car, but the tour across the mountains is absolutely great, at day and at night. Believe me, if you ever will do it, something in your mind will change your imagination of life. You'll never forget it and maybe a secret part of your soul will stay there.

Mournfull, dreamy, paranoid and hypnotic, maybe this are the words to describe my new ambience track "Between the Lines". If you listen with headphones and maybe use a mind-machine you'll be best served for an extravagant audio-mental journey.
More and more i've fun to play with styles, with low and mid tempo, and atmospheres to generate it's own overlocking atmo. In one moment you think it's a sad song, then psychic fx influences and some simple beginner's tones change the route and are flowing in bright moving clouds of sound while silent beats let you imagine there's a disco one block away. Maybe your eyelids become heavy and you must close your eyes like falling asleep, but your brain is wide open and hungry for all and after this ~30min trip you'll have the feeling of a really deep relaxion.

Don't ask me how i made this shot.

Took my Clavia Nord Modular G2 which was standing long time in my office where i've no time for making music back home now. By any way this red machine is what i wished from the beginning of making synthesizer music. Unfortunately in 2 years it was 2x defect, i've no other electronic equipment with which i've to handle so tasty and carefully. That minimizes the fun :(
But last not least i can't imagine to miss it. In the moment again it's my first choice because all is possible with it.

Hello,
at first let me say that i'm sorry that our Synthesizer-Artists network at Ning is no longer present and even the new try out to create a functional network at WackWall didn't run as it should.

There are quite easy reasons:
Ning changed their plannings and will take money for networks which they offered as free before. That's a fucking politic which i won't serve. Last not least the problem isn't the money, but more that the participation of members never got what it should.
WackWall which is since long time still in beta modus was a good try out to change, but there are still so many bugs and errors, that makes no fun. Even if one bug is solved another one appeared. The last bug was that the layout of the main page changed by itself. More about this the email verification for new members doesn't work correct and instantly since "several months".
That made me crazy from the beginning all the time. Also the page layout administration was unlikely difficult and some things didn't work.

So i decided to become free from wasting my time.

That's definetly what i mostly like. Of course, nobody can't listen this hypnotic meditative sound nonstop, even me, but in any way everbody may have an inner feeling for his audioactive base, which can't become affected by time nor by mode. This is the art of sound sound of my soul.
The original track runs about 35 min. Unfortunately i need more time for creating the video than for the music, but creating a video is a step which can be done at all times. It's like a job. Creating the sound / music is not possible at all times, it's more as if i must be touched by the spirits. At first it needs time to create the patch. Sometimes i'm crazy lucky and the cable connections find their routes like patched by a ghost's hand. The i've only to catch the right moment when my mind and fingertips are sensitive enough for the magic session. That can't be forced !

Full experimental mix, tried to combine several instruments in one live track. The basic sound comes from the Roland MC-909 and is partical routet through the Jomox T-Resonator and the Sherman Filterbank. The sound from Dave Smith's Mopho is routet via the Future Retro Revolution and again through the Doepfer A-100 Analog Modular System.
For the video fx editing i tried out something new. I think the idea is great, but the practice more difficult because the handheld camera moving isn't smooth as it should be. Will think about how i can fix this difficulty in the future. Maybe you've an idea.

Soundvariation of my last uploaded clips. This time i've included the A196 PLL (phase locked loop) in my system. Don't break your mind about how to create such sounds, it's allways the best to try and listen what happens. The results won't be poor.

Except the sound of the bell in the middle of the clip all sound variations which are not the same like the first regular looped drone of the beginning are made only by changing parameters at the A127 VCRF (triple voltage controlled resonance filter) . That's an absolute great module and i won't imagine to miss it in further productions.

The underwater video is filmed in Sept. 09 in Bali, dive spot: Padangbai, Channel. The sound is made with the A100 Analog Modular System and the Korg Kaoss Pad 3. Here i use the first time the new A127 module.

Production video of the 24 min song "Mare Digitalis - Newton's Law". The used instruments are the A100 Analog Modular System and the Future Retro Revolution. Exactly that is it what i mostly like to do and hear, allthough the video by itself isn't very spectacular this time. I've a lot of ideas for more visual effects, but because i'm not working on the world's stages i prefer to present only the music. So if you're tired of looking close your eyes and relax only the sound while i start my next production ;)

.......denk ich immer an meine ersten Eindrücke in Sachen Modulares auf der Musikmesse Ff, wo über Doepfers Stand n großes Banner hing, auf dem stand "Klangforschung"! Jo, und genau das ist es eigentlich. Immer auf der Suche nach dem Unbekannten mit dem Wunsch etwas harmonisches zu entdecken, so wie'n Raumfahrer der fremde Welten und Lebensformen sucht. Beides, Sound und Welten, waren im Prinzip ja schon da bevor man sie entdeckt hat, .... es hat nur so lange gedauert die richtigen Verbindungen herzustellen, sprich Strecken zu überbrücken ;)

Future Retro Revolution and A100 Analog Modular System

Got the Future Retro Revolution shortly. After first try out i decided to re-setup the banks by MidiOx, so it's in new original condition now. Waited long time looking for to get this toy.
I combined it with my A100 by using a A119 Ext.In, ......... cooool !!! Listen the audio sample below. In the middle of the track i play also on the Korg Kaoss Pad. The whole track is one live session!

Sometimes i like to don't know what i do, because the results becomes so experimental in a way which i can't get by logic plannings.
This a100 patch was created only because i needed an interesting background with some moving lights for another video. So i only put the cables in the modules with the goal to get some interesting light effects. See and listen what happens ;)

The ELM is an area near the city where i live. Sometimes on sunday we make a tour there and enjoy the nature.
The music is made with the A100 Modular System, the Korg Kaoss Pad 3 and (part 2/2) the Roland MC-909. The drums in part 1 are from the Kaoss Pad, in part 2 they are from the MC-909.

After listening several days nearly the same beat, today i present something what we call Dark Ambience. Crazy, i didn't believe before how easy it's to create this drone.
